Just monkeying around

We are a family who loves the zoo and animals.

At Ölands Zoo, Angel was delighted not only to photograph with the real animals, but even the fake ones.

After all, she probably can't ride a real zebra, stroke a real lion or sit on a real turtle, so it was a delight to see her smiles in these pics.

This was one of my favourite shots. I actually think the hubby didn't have to try overly hard to impersonate the gorilla because it came so natural to him. Lol.

BUT, my ultimate favourite shot from the trip had to be this one.

We told Angel that we were supposed to act like the mummy-baby monkey statue, so she pouted her lips instantly, surprising both the hubby and I.

Why did it make me laugh so much?

I don't know. Maybe because it was my girl's first pout captured in a shot. Or that she was so cooperative. Or that she looked super cute, to me, even with that expression.

Yeah yeah. Mums are actually easy to please.
