I'm not a love expert or a marriage consultant.
However, having been in love with the same man for nearly a decade, which is a third of my life, has taught me a thing or two about relationships.
Just like all couples, we had our ups and downs. It's better to have arguments than not to talk, better to have cold wars than a peace treaty, better to learn from the past than to be without a future.
So through time and experience, I've devised my own set of rules to keep my marriage happy and healthy.
A marriage needs trust, commitment, honesty, perseverance, passion and lots and lots of hard work. It doesn't just fall from the sky and a lasting one is only possible when both parties work together hand in hand.
I fell in love nine years ago. And I'm still very much in love today.
Thankfully with the same man whom I now call hubby. For all the good times and tough times we've been through, I'm glad we still stick together and have what we call a family now.
Happy 9th anniversary of being a couple, my dear.
To more decades of love ahead...
P/S: We'll be heading for our finale summer cruise to Norway and will be without internet connection for a week. Which I'm actually glad for. So, stay tuned for more updates!
Beautiful post Summer :) Happy anniversary to you and your darling and enjoy the trip!

I love to have my very handsome man as my hubby. He is very caring, sweet, kind and thoughtful but things are not always so great. Very hard to be far away.
Miscommunication, misunderstanding in every little stupid things, specially I always get mat at him for his past, negative thinking comes easily. like CRAZY! I can't control my anger sometimes. :(
But we love each other very much and that's all, that matters.
Any Way, your post is very helpful to me Summer. I would like to read more from you. And would love to do if u suggest me anything. Thank you.
